Street appeal is always important and presenting a home that is inviting, clean and well maintained will encourage house proud tenants, who will be happy to maintain the condition of the property.  We will be happy to provide some customised suggestions on how to potentially improve the street appeal.

Have the gardens and yard looking their best by mowing the lawns, trimming any overgrown trees, hedges and shrubs and removing any weeds.  Clear the gutters and drains of any built-up leaf matter/debris and consider installing gutter-guard to ensure they don’t re-block. If you have well established gardens,  you may also like to consider employing a gardener who will take care of them to ensure your standards and hard work is maintained.  

In some instances it may be necessary to repaint some areas of the house, both inside and outside.  For inside walls/fittings, consider a "wash n wear" product for ease of cleaning and an external paint with UV protection to help preserve the condition of the house.

Before introducing any prospective tenants to the property, ensure that it is clean and well presented. This includes any window furnishings, fixtures and tracks, light fittings, oven, cupboards (internally and externally), split system air conditioner  clean, dishwasher or other appliance that is being retained in the property and of course, bathrooms. The carpet should be professionally cleaned and if necessary a pest spray is highly recommended.   The expectation to all of our tenants is that the property is required to be in the same condition when they move out - we maintain this through regular inspections. 

There are a few things we need when getting ready for a tenant. Smoke alarm compliance, pool compliance (if applicable), water audit, safety review, blind cord and window compliance (if applicable)

Ensuring that you supply all manuals and warranties to relevant appliance, all access keys, remotes, swipes, alarm codes for the tenants to access as well as copies for multiple tenants & REALM.
